Aloha ABWA Members!

I hope that you are still refreshed from our night at the spa, thanks to Jo Miguel and Lila Marantz.  Our next ABWA meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 17, at the Plaza Club, in the Pioneer Plaza building downtown, at 5:00 PM.

We will have our election of officers and installation that evening and a brief meeting to cover all committee reports, including my Joint Chapter report on the September 20 luncheon at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce.  We will need to collect member reservations by July 31.

We have an elegant evening planned for you at the Plaza Club:  At 5:00 PM in Reception Lounge (21st floor) members and guests are invited to meet, enjoy light pupus, wine and soft music; at 5:45 members and guests will join for dinner meeting in the private Board Room located downstairs on 20th floor.  The Plaza Club is preparing a special dinner menu which will include their popular Mediterranean chicken, steamed vegetables, green salad and chef's choice dessert.

The cost per dinner is $23.00 and $2.00 for parking in the Pioneer Plaza building, after 5:00 PM.  I hope that many of you will consider bringing guests to our special evening at the Plaza Club.  Please call Fay Yamura at 527-7256 (work) or 949-1584 (home) by Friday, July 11.  (Plaza Club deadline for reservations is Monday, July 14).  I hope you will bring a guest to share this special evening.
